Hello! My name is Elena, and I’m a fiction and non-fiction book editor with over fifteen years’ experience in trade publishing. I’ve worked as a freelance editor since 2020, and previously worked in-house at Penguin Random House and Text Publishing.

I love working closely with authors to help them develop their writing voice and polish their writing through honest and clear feedback. My approach is collaborative and imaginative, and my aim is to empower authors to feel confident in their writing skills.

My services include manuscript assessments, copy editing and proofreading.
